This monochromatic sketch of the biblical scene of the Gathering of Manna, with prophets reclining over the curves of a lunette, may have been done in preparation for a mural painting, perhaps in the cathedral in Pisa where Lomi worked in the first decade of the seventeenth century." - (The Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York)
